ENDED: Enter to Win a Free Pass to the 2023 RootsTech Conference

This year’s RootsTech Conference will be held in person at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, on March 2-4, 2023. There will also be a virtual event similar to what has been presented by RootsTech during the past two years.

However, if you are able to get to Salt Lake City for the in-person conference, please read on for a chance to win a FREE 3-day pass!

Why Attend RootsTech in Person?

“RootsTech is a place to learn, be inspired, and make connections through family history. Hosted by FamilySearch and sponsored by other leading genealogy organizations, [they] have hundreds of expert classes, tips and tricks videos, and inspiring stories that can help you experience family history like never before.”1Annie Lincoln, “Looking for a way to feel connected? RootsTech 2023 is your place!” FamilySearch Blog.

The theme of this year’s RootsTech Conference is UNITING.

Uniting generations. Uniting traditions. Uniting communities. Uniting innovators. Uniting friends. And most importantly, uniting FAMILIES.

It is so difficult to find unity today in our divided world. That’s why it is more important than ever to seek out places and events where we can connect and unite. The RootsTech Conference is definitely one of those events.

If you are hesitant to attend in-person events right now, I get it. As a chronic and severe asthma sufferer, I’ll admit that I’m a bit nervous about it myself.

However, after nearly three years of sitting behind a computer watching the world go by, I’m actually looking forward to getting back OUT THERE again.

Plus, my goal of finding balance this year involves making new friends and renewing old connections. Attending RootsTech in person is a great way to do that!

It’s important to note that this year’s in-person RootsTech Conference will be only three days long instead of the usual four, and there will be fewer on-site classes offered.

There will also likely be fewer attendees and smaller crowds… which should make for a somewhat less overwhelming experience for those of us who are slowly emerging from our pandemic lockdown cocoons!

Here’s why I can’t wait for RootsTech (I’m the doofus who forgot to say her name)!

To learn about RootsTech’s plans to keep attendees safe during the in-person conference, please visit the FAQ page (scroll to the bottom for Health & Safety). RootsTech encourages you to take any personal measures that make you more comfortable during the event, such as wearing a mask and using the more than 120 hand sanitizing stations available throughout the Salt Palace Convention Center.
